How to Be a Better Ambassador for Your Cause | January 11

Join Andy Robinson and Julie Ha Truong on January 11, 2022 to learn how to identify and engage potential supporters, develop compelling messages, and deliver them effectively.

Even in the era of social media, the most effective marketing strategy is word of mouth. How can we do this successfully when people’s time is so constrained and their patience can be short?

Regardless of your role – board, staff or volunteer – you can represent your organization more effectively and encourage positive buzz both online and off. Learn how to identify and engage potential supporters, develop compelling messages, and deliver them effectively. We will discuss:

  • Listening: the most valuable communications skill
  • Goal setting and target audience
  • Communications message and plan
  • Pitching your organization one on one
  • Public speaking without fear (well, with less fear)
