Finding Solutions to Address Future Challenges
In partnership with the San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs (SJOCA), SVCREATES offered a series of online sessions to provide additional tools and tips to navigate your work during the continued challenges presented by shelter-in-place and other COVID related obstacles. With the support of SJOCA and our other sponsors, we were able to provide these opportunities at no cost to San Jose and Santa Clara County-based arts groups and artists.

NAVIGATING COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT FOR THE ARTS
The challenges of shelter-in-place, business interruption, health guidelines, and other sources of community unrest have called us to be more innovative than ever. Hear tips and strategies from leaders in other sectors during this three-part series moderated by Joshua Russell, Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Evergreen Valley College, with guest panelists from a range of sectors.

MAKING ART AND BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH LIVE STREAMING
Suffering Zoom burnout but still eager to connect with your community and provide opportunities for creative expression? Tasi Albastro, 2018 SVCREATES Emerging Artist Laureate, has been reframing the way artists and cultural communities connect with each other through live streaming.
