Engaging audiences, donors, and volunteers requires sharp, focused storytelling—about mission, programs, products, and accomplishments. Join SV
CREATES for our third annual exploration of audience engagement strategies—this year in partnership with KQED, a leading innovator in listener engagement, social media use, and cultural storytelling.
Keynotes will be provided by Jason Holland, VP of Community Engagement at the nationally renowned
Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and Sheila Bernus Dowd, International Social Media Manager at
GoDaddy. There will also be a featured presentation on engaging audiences with social media by Jamedra Brown Fleischman, Social Media and Distribution Specialist at
KQED Arts.
Break out session topics, such as writing for multiple platforms and storytelling for fundraising, marketing, and public relations, will be led by experts from KQED,
Silicon Valley Community Foundation, SV
CREATES, and others.
As part of SV
CREATES’ continuing support for our community’s capacity building, we will be inviting conference participants to
submit grant proposals for funding new audience or donor engagement strategies.
